Description
The Prompt Engineering Workshop introduced students to the art of crafting effective prompts for AI systems like ChatGPT. The session covered how large language models interpret input and highlighted the importance of structured, context-aware prompts in shaping AI responses. Participants explored techniques such as role-based prompting, iterative refinement, and chaining to improve clarity, creativity, and precision. The hands-on segment allowed students to create prompts for coding, design, and research tasks. In the final challenge, participants designed a website UI for a mental health awareness platform using a single AI prompt, showcasing creativity and critical thinking. Arsia Hullur (SE-COMPS) and Newton D’Souza (SE-COMPS) emerged as winners for their innovative and well-crafted AI-driven designs.
