The session saw enthusiastic involvement from students keen to explore graphic design. Participants were introduced to core design principles and guided through Canva’s features, combining theory with practical application. The hands-on format enabled students to create designs in real time, helping them gain confidence in using the platform for future academic or creative projects. To reinforce learning, a poster design challenge was conducted, where participants were tasked with creating visually impactful posters using Canva. This activity encouraged creativity, skill application, and healthy competition. The top performers were Shraddha Hebbar (SE-IT) and Raissa D’Souza (SE-COMPS), who were awarded a one-year internship at DBIT as recognition of their outstanding work.
